Hey, how you doing? My name is Willie Stephens, the business name is Alternative Business Capital and I am currently a member of Oz’s Blueprint Program. I wanted to shoot a short video so I could share my experience with the Blueprint so far right now. Why did I decide to join the Blueprint? Okay, now, originally … Well, I learned about merchant cash advance when I was driving Lyft. I was selling life insurance, I was driving Lyft and I picked up a guy one day, and he was basically telling me we both dealt with financial stuff or whatever. So I just asked him how profitable his business was, and he said, “Put it this way, I’m able to pay a whole year’s rent and within one month,” and I was like, “So how much is your rent?” He said his rent was like 2,000 a month and as he told me that I pulled up to his residence and it was like the whole block was a gated community. So I’m just like, “Damn, you can do that in a whole month, huh?”

And it just opened me up so I got in contact with him a couple times about his business where he worked at, his spot here in Philly and I actually eventually got hired there a couple months ago and I was very excited. I actually put my life insurance job on hold so I can actually start working there and I started working there and, believe it or not, I was late at the first and the second day. First day was due to not having an ID and I let them know I had to go get my ID made, so I was about three to five minutes late. The second day, I was late due to miscommunication between the instructor and the class, but either way I late two days in a row and then that second day they let me know, we got to let you go. So I was very … I was hurt because I was like, “Damn, I finally found a way to make it happen for the fam and they let me go, so back to the drawing board.”

So what I did is I put the life insurance job on hold and how about this, when I came back to the life insurance job they ended up letting me go. So just looking up different MCA stuff online, I was looking up different videos, seeing how different people were doing it solo on and I came across Oz’s videos. And I had noticed his name before and I saw some of the videos before, but I never really paid too much attention to it, but then I started paying attention to these and I’m like, “Oh, so it’s a blueprint to show you how to do it.” So that opened me up and the Lord made a way for me to get the money to start. Okay, that’s why I got down with the program because I seen that this was a way to be able to provide for my family and I know it’s something that I could do, then I found a way to do it. So that’s why I got down with it, to take care of the family.

Now my experience with the program so far, right now I’m still learning. I setup my LLC, setup a website. There’s not really nothing on my website, I bought the domain, I got a business phone number, business address, business email. I haven’t funded any deals yet. My head has been everywhere as far as trying to work regular jobs to get money coming in and trying to do this at the same time. So procrastination as well as my mind being all over the place, I’m not as far advanced as I should be with the program, but, yeah, right now I’m putting more into it. I got my LinkedIn setup, I’m starting to work with LinkedIn as far as networking with people so I’ve been doing a lot with that lately. But, yeah, no deals funded so no growth at the moment, but there has been a little bit of progress and I want to make sure that the progress does increase.
